Mokulele Airlines announced today that they will celebrate King Kamehameha Day – and extend some genuine Hawaiian aloha – by lei’ing passengers who fly between Imperial / El Centro and Los Angeles Airport on June 10th.

“King Kamehameha united the Hawaiian Islands,” explained Mokulele Airlines President Rob McKinney, “and the holiday that honors his legacy inspired us to connect places like Imperial / El Centro with commercial hubs like Los Angeles in the same way we connect smaller communities like Hana, Waimea and Kapalua with Honolulu.”

Mokulele has two nine-passenger Cessna Grand Caravans in California and offers four daily flights between Imperial / El Centro and Los Angeles at an introductory rate of just $30, valid on every seat and every flight purchased through June 15th for travel through September 24th. In addition to the discount, Mokulele is sharing aloha by offering California and Baja California residents their first checked bag free of charge when they show their California or Baja California ID card for a limited time.

Mokulele Airlines is a family owned and operated business, and we believe strongly in treating our passengers just like an extended part of the family, so we wanted to do something special to commemorate this important holiday from back home with our new customers here in California.” said McKinney.
